I suggest you go to five different psychics and tell them to contact Perry. Bonus points for getting them to say that he loved birds and was afraid of monkeys... :)

I hope you have a great turn out !!
Perry was the curmudgeon of the SGU and I still miss his comments and wit.

...and the subject of the talk is "Ten Reasons Monkey Are Better Than Birds."

Let us know if the Amtrak is convenient.  If it is, I might join you (I'm in NH).

Just a thought: I saw some comments here about Amtrak. For those without convenient train access, how about ride sharing?

I don't suppose any of you are driving from Paris, though...

Will look into it.  Any board members or Rogues have Train or bus info from Boston to Fairfield?

I'm going to be there.  And while I'm in the vicinity, I'm going to see the Cassini exhibit at the museum.  Science weekend!
I understand what I just posted is probably only tangentially related to the main topic.

PLEASE be sure to record and produce it for SGU so we off-worlders (well, around-the-other-side-of-the-worlders) can hear it all.

I'd love to make it, and if anyone is driving up from the DC area and would like someone to help shoulder the burden of gas prices, let me know.

Didn't even know the guy, yet I think it's gonna get pretty dusty up there...

I hate to be the spell-check guy but annual is spelled with two 'n'-s.  (Oh, hell, I love to be the spell-check guy.  I'm kinda pedantic that way.   :P)

This event sounds great.  I'm not sure I could get to CN for it, but look forward to hearing the audio.

Ack!  You got me.  And I knew CN looked wrong but was too lazy to look it up.
