Tyson is the kind of guy I'd like to have over for some beer & BBQ, then chat about the universe while sitting in lawn chairs under the night sky.

Just listened to the podcast, and I think I remember him from the Daily Show. Definitely think I'll be checking out some of his work. So good to see/hear someone who has such a passion for his work, yet can instil that same passion in others. If only we could clone him and put versions in every school. (Though I think he'd probably be stolen by the mothers!)

Dr. Tyson had a great talk at Beyond Belief 2006, and his recent acceptance speech at RNASA is one of my new favorites.  Video of him you can find on YouTube I feel are better than his television appearances, especially when he's scripted.  When he's on his own behind a podium he's such a wonder to listen to.
