As both a muscian and an engineering this blows me away.

The pickups have a sustain chip for each string.  They can be selectively turned on and off and also set at anti resonance to mute the strings.  They also sell a pedal that goes with this guitar that selectively mutes different harmonics.

I wonder how hard it would be to put those electronics into any ol' body, 'cuz I've been thinking about building my own guitar from scratch for awhile.
