Friday Night Lights
« on: December 04, 2008, 07:19:50 AM »
Watching series 1 now, nd I think it is absolutely awesome, I love it.

Anyone else watch this show?  I haven't seen it mentioned here, I think.
Massey: No, he needs to be left alone.  We can't fix any of this with violence.
Schlock: You're just afraid to use enough of it.
-----------------
Tagon: So what is it, gas?  Ice crystals?
Ennesby:  It's a melange.
Tagon: I didn't ask what colour it was!

I watch it. And I remember NM mentioning it (that's what made me check it out).

Found it:

Guess I don't need to add that I like the show, then! The show is absolutely not the kind of thing I would have expected to enjoy, but the writing and acting (for the most part) are great.

When's the third season start?

When's the third season start?

It started 1st October. They've aired 8 9 episodes.

Edit: 9 eps.

Hmm, only season one is so far available on DVD in the UK.  I really really really hope they bring out the next seasons.  My multi-region DVD player, as well as blurring the top 10% of the picture, is connected to my crappy old TV upstairs, not the mega set-up in the besement.

Does anyone know when NBC is going to start air the 3rd season.  Right now it's only available to people with Direct TV.

In case you didn't know, Riggins is Gambit.

That is, Taylor "Tim Riggins" Kitsch has been signed for a 3-picture deal to play the character, starting in the upcoming Wolverine origins flick.

In other news, FNL will air on NBC in February.

All of seasons 1 and 2 are at the NBC.com website, so people in the US can watch them completely legally and in good quality there.

It's a show I love to hate, and don't miss. Matt Saracen's storyline is my favorite, with Jason Street a very close second.

Loved the movie, not a fan of the tv show though.
