[lubber talk]It's really best if we get as many RCs as we can today(we've got four and we can get up to nine without any votes carrying over) so I'm kind of wondering if we should wait a little bit(as in an hour or two) for Sketchy but then move on to someone else.  I'm trying to put some math together, but I'm pretty sure if we don't get enough RCs out within a certain number of days, the mafia could use the rule to start forcing no-lynches even when we seem to have a large number of townies alive.

All the new people have RC'd I think, but just for future reference: When you RC, just give your name, do not give your power, even if you don't have one, until pressured to do so.  The mafia will be looking for specials and in a B2B, we're not likely to have many investigative powers or protective roles, so it's important you don't narrow things down for them by declaring yourself a VT.[/lubbertalk]

Arr, we still be waitin' on Mr Ben for his fiction/non-fiction claim.  In the while:
pressure Sketchy

I've been sick AGAIN-- sorry for taking so long to post.  my whole concept was similar to the real/fake 'test' that we already went through. I thought of that before I even googled my name.  I'm solidly a pirate, but not the kind you might think of.  I go clicky clicky clicky, instead of yarrr matey

[lubber talk(cause complicated math is not in the pirate's domain)]Okay, so it's not quite as bad as I thoughta day-by-day breakdown is a little tricky, so I'll just have to go with an example:

11players, 7 townies, 4 scum, 6 to lynch.
4 townies already RC'd.

The mafia manages a bandwagon on an unRC'd townie(not difficult with four players) making:

7 to lynch.

Now the town has a problem.  Getting one more RC will make it impossible to lynch scum.  So even with their best case scenario: they bandwagon mafia, the scum players gives an RC and now the town can't lynch without any mafia votes.  The day will end in a no-lynch, the mafia will kill someone that night and the next day:

10 players, 6 townies, 4 scum, 6 to lynch.

Now the town is boned.  Sure the other scum revealed who they all were the day before, but just one of them has to give an RC before all six townies throw their votes on one person(easy to do) and the town is once again unable to lynch, so the next day:

9 players, 5 townies, 4 scum, 5 to lynch.

The mafia again RCs one of their own and the town loses, as they will be unable to lynch from this point on.

The scenario I described above couldn't really happen in a normal game, the town might be able to pick off mafia with vig-kills, or lucky busdrives/roleblocks, not to mention SKs

But in a B2B game(based on the last one), there won't be any vigilantes, bus-drivers, or Roleblockers(although we did have a jailkeeper in the last game, but he'd have to decide between protecting the townie most likely to be attacked or RBing the mafia most likely to be sent on the kill) so this scenario isn't all that improbable(I am making a few assumptions, such as the mod simply increasing the mafia size rather than adding an SK or a second mafia).[/lubber talk]

I'll RC if you want me to, but it will just screw up the whole vote counting thingy.
Narr, 'tis rubbish talk, we be at 4 RCs, we can managed up to 9 afore th'extra votes spill over to morrow

so very very close -- more along the lines of someone who facilitates the ability to be a pirate.  I'd be the pirate admiral of the torrential fleet.
