I've basically RCed in a non-RC way also.
Any time I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing?

As have I--however, we do need to put a few official RCs out there so the mafia doesn't start blocking their own lynches with RCs later on.

Like I said yesterday, I think the two Monkey Island claims bear looking at.

I would have chose Apharinde as I don't think we have any info on them.

I would have chose Apharinde as I don't think we have any info on them.

 ???

Aphirande's pRCs:

Real or Fiction: Real

Active time: 1540-1595(this is actually DOB and DOD, but some other people gave that too).

Unique facts: Called "Sir" and sailed around the globe

It's pretty obvious who he's claiming.

Also I'm too lazy to look up the info. :-)

I told you I've rc'd in a non rc way.

I'm sorry Karyn, but I don't see it.  You haven't given any new information since this post.

Prior to that your posts were:

They are either getting real lucky, or they have some serious powers.  I think they are getting lucky and just targeting players that haven't said much.

I believed you!  I'll take some cheese now, please.

I'm fine with BM subing.
Quote from: Karyn(22)
shit.  That's why I keep getting lynched :(
Quote from: Karyn(22)
this is what I meant about not being able to judge people by what they say.  much like most of the woo out there, if you start out thinking everyone is scum, you just interpret everything they say as scummy, or if they don't say anything you interpret that as scummy.  It's a no win situation.  I'm starting to think this game is a popularity contest.
Quote from: Karyn
And mine makes 8.  I'm doing this only in the hopes that it clears me as town.

vote: sketchy
Quote from: Karyn(21)
it doesn't.  If sketchy turns out to be scum, it only makes me look evil.  If I'm mafia, I wouldn't be defending him at this stage in the game, or I'd be trying to deflect the bandwagon to someone else.  If I'm town, I'm only defending him because then at least I look less scummy.  But that goes back to the WIFOM thing, doesn't it ;)

I can't ever tell who is scum and who isn't by the things they say.  I find it to be about the most useless method of discovery out there.  I'm tempted to go back to all the previous games and track the level of accuracy in people's assumptions based on chatter.  I bet it's pretty shitty.
Quote from: Karyn
well, I don't exactly have a better option for us, anyway.  I wish I did.
Quote from: Karyn
it's related to internet piracy.  Obviously, that doesn't mean that I support sketchy 100%, just that I don't think his rc is that sketchy.
Quote from: Karyn(20)
I am defending sketchy because I am not all that different from him.
Quote from: Karyn(19)
I disagree.  I'm inclined to believe Sketchy's rc for now.

Quote from: Karyn(15)
I have absolutely no information for us.
Quote from: Karyn(14)
I trust sketchy.  Oddly enough.
Quote from: Karyn(13)
I'm going to guess sketchy is shawn fanning.
Quote from: Karyn(13)
I can believe this.
(^this is the first post in which you gave any kind of indication about your role.)

All I get from that is that you're some kind of software or internet pirate.  Unless there's some kind of hidden code(which is an unnecessarily obtuse method if there is one), you've just said "Oh I've already done it" whenever asked for a pRC.  I took your word for it previously(shame on me), but looking things over, you haven't given us anything specific(I can pretty much guess the claims of everyone else who has already given all their pRCs).  I still want official RCs out of Neutral and Myra, but in the meantime could you please give us some better pRCs?(or show me what I missed in your posts)

While I'm at it, Wastrel didn't pRC yesterday.

Yeah, I might be dumb, but I wasn't getting Karyn's pRC...  I assumed she was a software or internet pirate based on what she said about sketchy, but I didn't get anything specific from her posts.

Let's hear is Monkey Island peeps!
