3 long-ish prank calls about people having tunnels underneath their houses.

Just listened to a couple of minutes of that. Seems rather nasty to me.

I've never understood the humour behind prank calls.

I thought they were funny when I was a kid. Now they just seem like a kind of emotional vandalism.

I didn't even find them funny when I was a kid. But then again, there are a lot of things I don't find funny that other people laugh at, so I may just have a weird sense of humour.

Oh come on. At least he's good-natured about it, unlike most other prank callers who insult and annoy their victims. At the end of the call, he even tells them it's a prank and they have a laugh about it.

I still think it's mean. Maybe the person in that call laughed about it at the end (I didn't listen past the first few minutes) but another person might have been upset. I'd have been angry that someone wasted my time. Just like any other spam phone call. Bottom line: prank phone calls are just another category of spam.

I'm not a real fan of phoning in and pranking, but pranking a telemarketer is gold.

Big difference between making prank calls, and pranking a scammer who calls you. Scammers who call you are fair game.
