Well, well, well!

Congrats, Rebecca!

I would expect that this will slow ( but not stop) the flow of proposals you receive!

Wow, that's awesome.  Congrats.

What are the odds?
One in 365. Or less, since more people get married in summer than winter.
Chances are even higher if the other wedding also happened in a year when this particular date was on the weekend, since weddings then are more common than during the week.
The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there's little good evidence. Far better...is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.

May you both have many happy love filled years together.

Was there and so surprised.  It was definitely scripted - sort of - but well done.
Started to wonder what was different when they went straight into Q&A.

Sid's question was the second after the Who's That Noisy winner asking for a prize.   Now I can't remember if she got one.

Rebecca sorta protested but not very hard.

First las Vegas wedding I have attended and probably one of the largest ever with over 1000 guests.  I'm keeping my "invitation"

Great to be there for it.

Congratulations Sid and we wish you well Rebecca. (That's the formal congrat)

I was able to offer congratulations in person as I am here at TAM.  Did she know about it?  Absolutely. It was quite scripted and she said so later.

After about 25 minutes of the SGU they went to question and answer and I was beginning to wonder why I bothered to get out of bed early. Glad I did. It was fun to watch.

Rebecca married Sid Rodrigues during the SGU panel section of TAM today.

Priceless. congrats, and I expect a full report on how you pulled this off.
