Solo music project
« on: June 30, 2010, 04:25:39 PM »
This is a little side project I've been playing around with for a few years, and I've made some tunes. Most land somewhere within metal, industrial or a combination. I play all instruments myself (although I've programmed the drums on this one rather than play them) and I also do the sound engineering bit. No vocals as of now, but I'll record some when I get around to it.

Just as a suggestion, maybe use sound cloud if you havent yet. I know alot of musicians that prefer it for sharing. Its sort of like audio flickr.

Music sounds fine, but i wouldnt describe it as my style.

I prefer Box, and I know lots of musicians and sound engineers who do ;)

Nothing wrong with Soundcloud, I just happened to be using Box before it came crawling along and I can't be bothered to move all my other stuff over there.

Thanks for having a listen :)

Sounds like a heavier version of Blaze Bailey's solo stuff, minus vocals. Sounds good, agree vocals would improve it. Would it be OK with you if I trial some vocals on it, if I ever get the time? it would be more a personal challenge than an attempted collaboration! Obviously I wouldn't post it anywhere, just would be cool to play around with it, if I ever do I'll send you a copy.
Get used to it honey. From now on, we'll be spelling everything with letters.

As long as you don't post it elsewhere, publish it, or otherwise claim to be the composer, knock yourself out ;)

Great stuff! Hope to hear more.

I liked it. I donĀ“t think it needs vocals. Metal vocals are difficult to do well, usually they sound ridiculous. Off the top of my head I think only Rob Halford has ever managed to pull it off.
