Every once in a while I meet someone who is way to good looking too be an engineer.  Occasionally, I meet someone who is so good looking its distracting.  Granted, I'm more likely to find a good looking woman distracting but sometimes, its a guy.

I'm not a doctor, I'm just someone who has done a ton of research into diet and nutrition.

Would it be easier to engineer insects to never enter human residences in the first place, or to have them go outside if a window is about to be closed?

It would be easier to engineer them to die. We're actually doing that with most species now, without hardly trying.

True, but I was imagining an alternative to insectcide.

I just heard an interview of Nick Cage in which he said that the reason he hasn't done TV yet is because he's waiting for the right role.

I laughed out loud but nobody in my office seems to find this funny.

The wrist band of my FitBit broke.
Sucks that they're not more robust.
Nice that they have lots of replacements, cheap, and easy to install.
Amend and resubmit.

Not intentionally, maybe.

Don't be coy.  If you are claiming I am intentionally or unintentionally acting to cause the extinction of the majority of the species on the planet, then state your evidence.

It's a ridiculous claim, but if you have some actual evidence, I might change my mind.

If you are a consumer in the modern world of electricity from fossil fuels, gasoline, or fancies and non organic meats, fruits and vegetables then you are indirectly part of the cause of the death and potential extinction of numerous insect species.

OK, I’ll bite.  List the numerous insect species that are spared from death and potential extinction as a result of the production of organic meat, fruits and vegetables.
