   My guilty pleasure is Barbara Striesand. Her voice strikes me as very beautiful, but I'm afraid if anyone catches me listening to her they'll think I'm gay. I'm not, I swear! This is the only Gay Symptom I have! Honest!

I don't listen to a lot of pop music, and so didn't really hear ABBA until a couple of years ago. Then, it was "I can't believe I missed this group."

Current (very) guilty pleasure is Lady Gaga. Yeah, I know...

Yeah, I'm sorry but Lady Gaga is not in that same true guilty pleasure as like John Mayer would be if I bought his album WHICH I DID NOT AND I ESPECIALLY DID NOT LIKE THAT RETARDED SONG "YOUR BODY IS A WONDERLAND" BEFORE IT GOT PLAYED ON THE RADIO AND I REALIZED HOW DUMB IT WAS WHY ARE YOU EVEN BRINGING THAT UP ARE YOU PSYCHIC I MEAN A FABULIST. Lady Gaga is incredibly genre-savvy and as a result her music is pretty fun to listen to. She's like the bard from Order of the Stick; even if she's kind of dumb - and the jury is waaay out on that - she and/or her producers know so much about the history of what she's doing that it comes off as smart on a meta level.

Now, MikeHz, Henry Rollins says it's all okay, even...**cough** John Mayer **cough**, and Lady Gaga is indeed fun to listen to.

At the start of the thread, I admitted to funkin' along with Klymaxx.  At the moment, I am head-banging along to these chicks.

Should I feel guilty about this?  I love it: I think it is the perfect pop song;

Ha. The funny part is that is a cover of a fun boy three song, and the original is the opposite of catchy. It is ubergoth.

That was great!  (And catchy, in its own way.)  I love hearing different versions of songs.

Here are some of my guilty pleasure tunes. I actually think it gives you a badge of honor, especially if you're more inclined to listen to experimental or obscure stuff.
