I had a terrific day at the indiemade craft market.  LOTS of sales; my best year yet at this show.

My table was quite crowded.

I sold a lot of the stuff I just finished...so I guess I'm glad I had the marathon tiling and grouting sessions.

Purdy.

They look really effective all together like that. So much colour and pattern!

Oh no, andrew, I am a terrible capitalist.  There's no profit in this enterprise.  I don't even keep track of expenses anymore.  I figure the money and time spent on supplies and labor is just a fun hobby (which it is), and sales and compliments are kind of a bonus.  Doesn't mean I'm not hot, however.  ;)

Thanks!  It is kind of a visual riot.

More snacks for the Sergeant!
Indeed.

And whiskey chocolate for his non-drinkin' human.

FTFY.  :)  I took my spoils from this show and the November exhibition off to the mall yesterday.  My favorite jeweler was having their estate show and sale, so I laid away a couple of pieces for my birthday, and then wandered around getting a lot of Xmas shopping accomplished.

Finally getting around to posting these.  Last fall while I was getting ready for the indiemade show, my mother said, "Do you have any little end tables?  I need one for the base unit of my personal alarm system."  I said, "I'm working on one that's blue, green, and purple."  She said, "I'll take it.  It can be my birthday present."  So what could I do?  I finished the table and gave it to her.

It's time to get down to serious work on the inventory for the upcoming season, too.

Ummm, I'm a little hurt it wasn't offered to me for my bday. Then again, maybe I need to get gangsta like your mom and roll up on you, "Hey, it's my bday, I'll take that."  8)

Spoiler
(my bday isn't until July... 21st... hint hint)  :P

All due respect, dude, I'm not sure you're quite as gangsta as my mother.

Spoiler
Duly noted.  ;)

The plan after the season ends is to spend the rest of the winter and spring building up the inventory in a leisurely fashion, so I'm not busting my fat lumpy white ass three days before every show like I was this season!  Yeah right, we'll see.

It's time to get down to serious work on the inventory for the upcoming season, too.

Well, that didn't go as planned.  But tomorrow is the indiemade summer show, and I've been busting my fat lumpy white ass this week.  I have 15 new pieces, with which I am satisfied to varying degrees.  Would somebody please tell me not to procrastinate so horribly the rest of the season?  Good lord.

My inventory spreadsheet is ridiculously out of date, too.  What a mess.  At least I had enough sense to take today off to try to impose a semblance of order on my operation.

Thanks!  Here's a table closeup from yesterday's show—the "jars" section.  The five smallest ones are wrinkle-cream jars!  Just right for tiny treasures, or secrets.
