Doesn't look like I can make it :(  What would the shipping be on that table?

Aw.  :(   I have honestly no idea how much shipping for the table would cost.  I've never shipped one of my pieces before.  Since I'm almost positive that the legs aren't detachable (they're screwed in from the top), I'd need a fairly large box...and a lot of styrofoam peanuts.  I know I can carry into a UPS store and they'll pack 'n' ship for me...which of course would mean they'd (over)charge me for materials, too.  Hmm, maybe I can look up something online.

Also, sold the black mirror.  Hooray for more income; holiday gift shopping looms!

Could you unscrew the legs and ship it that way?  I can reassmble it myself.

Not if they're screwed in from the top!  The screws are inaccessible under layers of joint compound, paint, glue, glass, and grout.

Whatever he wants!  Probably canned food from Trader Joe's.  Also, first choice of all the comfy fleece blankets.  And decorations to play with.  You know, the usual.

This sounds an awful lot like my holiday wishlist, you're not referring to me as Sergeant in code are you?  ;)

Nah, you're a vegetarian, you wouldn't like Trader Joe's tuna for cats.  Also, your code name is Trout Man.

As it's the end of November, I went down to the Quadrant today to load out my exhibition, or what was left.  Sold ALL of the clocks, plus the big jewelry chests and several other items, for a total of $475, hooray!

Tonight I finished grouting 20 new pieces for the indiemade craft market this Saturday, which is my favorite show of the season.  It's in a ballroom in an old firehouse.  There's a little stage where they have musical performers all day, and a big bar, and a kitchen where you can get hamburgers and pierogies, and tables to sit at, and really cool, funky, interesting crafts (no "granny crafts").  It's like a party with sales, only much cooler than a Tupperware party.

Thanks.  :)  It's nice to have some extra buckage just in time to buy gifts for the F&F, plus my Secret Skeptical Santa.  I usually do pretty well at the indiemade show, too.  You would probably enjoy it, EhJayArr.  You could stroll around with a gin and tonic, chatting up all the hipster craftergirls.

The plan after the season ends is to spend the rest of the winter and spring building up the inventory in a leisurely fashion, so I'm not busting my fat lumpy white ass three days before every show like I was this season!  Yeah right, we'll see.

I'm quite sure I'd have a blast, though hipsters aren't really my thing. I'd most likely be spending my time chatting up YOU.  :pervert:

And maybe procrastination = inspiration?

Pfft, gettin' sloppy drunk and handsy, and asking for discounts, most likely.  ;)

More like procrastination = desperation.  Also, grout is caustic (like concrete), so if I end up working with it for several hours at a time, sometimes I feel pretty ill.  So it's healthier to pace the workflow.  But one so often does not live one's ideal, alas.
