I know I'll facepalm when someone says it, but the only possible person coming to mind is FX and I think Slayer's a worse offender probably because FX starts his own threads to do multiple posts in a row whereas Slayer does it in existing ones.

Oh.  Well, like I said he tends to contain his post-splosions to his own random threads (unless you're talking about the global warming stuff; I don't go there) so it doesn't really bother me.

Yeah, but he used to ruin every single thread he posted in. Give him credit for changing his ways somewhat, but he's still a bad offender.

He either calmed down before I came or before I noticed then.

It always amused me because content-wise he's what you'd refer to as a "hit-and-run poster," but his repetitive posting style meant that he'd hit, run, throw it in reverse, hit again, run again, slam the brakes, throw it into gear, hit again, and finally run again.  While dozens of witnesses had taken down his plates.

I think I may have over-extended my metaphor.

I think you may have driven it into the ground. But I lost.
