I won't fuck with canned tuna.  However, my Sunday breakfast yesterday was:

One piece of whole grain 12-grain seeds and shit toast.
One can of smoked kippers drained and cooked in a small iron skillet until most of the moisture is cooked out then stacked on the toast.
A few dashes of hot sauce.
Two fried eggs, over medium (runny yoke) fried in olive oil with salt and pepper, then laid on top of the kippers.

Canned fish for breakfast.  Who'd a thunk it?

Pickles on pizza. Any place that does both subs and pizza will often have ingredients that pizza places might not. My "dream pizza" is an adaptation of a variety known as the Bronx Bacon Deluxe: thin crust, tomato slices (not chunks), bacon (crisp breakfast bacon, not the "crumbled" bacon most pizza places try to pass off), pickles, oregano (and, of course, the requisite tomato sauce and cheese).

A lot of Chinese restaurants in the US do serve fries as an option
At least in Virginia.

My mother used bacon fat as salad dressing. Get fresh veggies right out of the garden and drown them in fat. Good eatin'.
My grandmother would combine bacon fat with red wine vinegar and pour it over salad greens and onions (and the bacon of course).  The pan sizzled as she drenched the greens in hot fat.  She called it "wilted lettuce"...no idea if that was some local name she grew up with or what.  There might be a reason my family has a history of heart problems /shrug.

This is an old PA Dutch recipe https://cookpad.com/us/recipes/338422-hot-bacon-dressing--pa-dutch

Indeed, I see it around here (Allentown, PA) but it is also A Thing in Appalachia—aren't you in Kentucky, Calinthalus?  Wilted lettuce or kilt lettuce.  (As in "killed" not "plaid skirty garment," of course.)

On first read, I wondered what "shit toast" was.

Yeah, I'm from SE Kentucky.  My grandmother was from up near Mt. Vernon KY, basically on the edge of the Cumberlands.  More hills than mountains.
