No sign of the zombie bear yet... I hope they'll bring it in for the third season

Can't wait for Sam to drop a whitewalker with his obsidian dagger. First man in thousands of years to kill an ancient warrior....and it's a pudgy little virgin :D

Always questioned what the big deal was after reading that, but their appearance in the finale secured their position as truly badass. Whoever redesigned them should get a medal.

Well, it looks like the producers of the TV show are much more eager to get on with the "White Walkers" storyline than George Martin himself is.....

I keep reading book after book expecting these bastards to start busting through The Wall....no dice.....
Well.  There it is.

I'll have to go back to read the description of the White Walkers, but those didn't look like how I envisioned them. They're supposed to have glassy armor, right? I dunno.

I'm sort of annoyed with the way the series has turned this season. Had I not read the books this past month for the first time I probably wouldn't have cared, but now it's starting to irk me.

I dunno.  Most of the changes makes sense for the new medium of TV.  I don't think the series has lost it's essence in this retelling.

Agreed.

Armour looked alright too. Had a melted look to it as you'd expect of glass armour, or were you picturing something more crystalline and sparkly? :D

I thought the guy was bare-chested? I must have been really distracted when watching last night.

Anywho.. I think what bothers me is the subtle changes which I find completely unnecessary.
