The Verge reports this morning that NK's already limited Internet has suddenly suffered a nearly complete collapes today.
Quote
"I haven’t seen such a steady beat of routing instability and outages in KP before," said Doug Madory, director of internet analysis at Dyn Research, told North Korea Tech. "Usually there are isolated blips, not continuous connectivity problems. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are absorbing some sort of attack presently." The premise is particularly relevant given recent statements by President Obama, which promised a "proportional response" to the recent attack on Sony.

Does this mean we counter-hacked them?  Does USA have plausible deniability?  (some private citizen took down NK's communication system?)

How can we not?  Its not like anyone is going to believe NK and NK will just believe whatever they want regardless.  Who actually did it is almost irrelevant.  If NK wants to react to it with aggression they will, completely regardless of who actually screwed with them, if it was anyone at all and not just a coincidental technical issue on their side.

The Kims keep control by being gods. They have birth legends created that tie them to the divine origins of the Korean people. A god will not be mocked. And DVDs make their way into country regardless of censorship. Kim knows The Interview will make the rounds in NK. And as most of us have learned, the faithful can't abide their god being laughed at.

Well, in this case, we have proof that the 'God' in question is actually behind the problem :)
