The Mabus Case
« on: January 07, 2015, 07:09:21 PM »
Hello All:

There has been update on the Mabus Case, a person whom the skeptic community have tried everything in their power to arrest and silence.

The defense and prosecutor reached a deal of probation and community service plus some minor conditions.

But I think the "James Randi" and "Tim Farley" cases have been resolved conclusively finally:

Do you have a link which actually refers to the resolution of the case, rather than a link to Mabus' nonsense?

Well its appropriate to post this today because of the deadly shootings in Paris over "free speech."

Are there limits? Should there be limits?

Is this acceptable?

Or does it cross the LINE to HATE IMAGERY and people have a role to prevent it somehow?

Moderator Comment It crosses the line into NSFW, and thus I have spoilered it.

That wasn't really my question.  As far as I am aware, Dennis Markuze was sentenced in February 2013.  I'm not aware of any upcoming proceedings which would require an "update", but would love to read anything about that resolution which you might have.

EDIT: He was also set for sentencing in November 2014, so that might have been postponed until recently.

Is this Dennis? Seems a bit more reasonable, medicine must be helping.

Operation "Iraqi Freedom"

Can people use veiled and deceptive language to threaten and "actually" murder? While people who say they are going to kill do not mean it or use it in self-defense against an overwhelming aggressor to try to scare them away? Have you ever heard of the saying: "Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me." Can some of these terrorist actions be a response to the illegal Iraqi and Afghani wars that unfairly targeted them for causing 911.

The system we live in uses such words as democracy, freedom, peace, security, etc., as a veil to commit its crimes  because  it is in a position of overwhelming military might and controls a massive propaganda machine that can twist lies into truth. Its speech contradicts its real actions because it can get away with it, and the people simply do not care or are unaware because they have been manipulated by the system from birth.

But there were no "weapons of mass murder." This was an outright lie http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/feb/15/defector-admits-wmd-lies-iraq-war  used to justify and unleash the most powerful military of the world on basically a defenseless people, ending with the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi men, women, and children. Will these war criminals ever face justice? These men have brought permanent shame and disgrace upon the US military, which exists to prevent global crimes rather than to cause them.

Who is "we"?

The only thing you've managed to shake up is my faith in your sanity.  Normally people don't leap from death threats of harassment of celebrities to the justification for the war in Iraq in a single bound.  I'm all for improvisations on a theme, but this is completely insane.

we're trying to show you that you are pseudoskeptics, the exact OPPOSITE OF REAL SKEPTICS. That a large part of you are police informants and snitches. That is the only power you possess.
