Every time I ever put that song on my wife either physically abuses me or doesn't talk to me for an hour. She hates that song. Too bad for her I like it, and I know how to ask Alexa to play it.

(I notice I mention my wife quite often in this thread... We first got together in large part because of our similar tastes in music so it's a big part of our relationship.. we also go to dozens of shows together each year and travel to at least one large music festival.. so pretty much any story I have to tell about music or a song will involve her. Sorry.)

apparently Karmin is best known as one of those talented YouTubers who covers contemporary songs (her version of "Can't Feel My Face" is more bearable than the original), but I was introduced to her via this Watsky collab, and goddamn she's got mad flow

I listened to the entire catalouge of Between the Buried and Me.

They are not great, but I like their style.  It reminds of the band Opeth used to be.

RIP Opeth.

As a group, these guys seem to fall into the 'sick beats, dumb rhymes' category. Thankfully, this track is heavy on the former and light on the latter.

no apologies, no winks, no irony, I am completely addicted to this song that by all rights I should despise.

if you don't recognize the name Danielle Bregoli, you probably know her as the "catch me outside" girl. and no, she doesn't say her catchphrase in the song, but some pretend protest picket signs refer to it.
