Then there was this in my FB feed:

I've seen that exact same post about Windows 8.
There hasn't been a single version of Windows that was well accepted by people at release.
Even Windows 7 took a while to be well received.
People are whiners.

I remember a 1990's cartoon that said "DOS-6  IT SUCKS LESS"

Yeah, but it's not a very good one. It just runs on the "there's something new, it must be bad" assumption while trying to be topical without understanding the topic.  About Windows 8, or Windows ME, it'd at least have a chance to be funny.  But the majority of people who've actually used Windows 10 are likely to say otherwise.

Personally, I think it's great.  There's a bit of a learning curve, as there is with anything new, but it's sleek, fast, clean, and does so much right.  Probably the best operating system Microsoft has ever put together--at least since XP.

Hell, Windows 10 didn't just fix some issues I was having with Windows 7 using my Wacom Cintiq drawing screen, but has numerous built-in features that made it several times better.

I just expect a higher caliber of joke.  This is just so lazy and ill-informed.  It's like the tech version of a joke dependent on out-dated racial stereotypes.

I actually giggled when I read the same exact tweet by the same exact account about Windows 8.
That's why I found the Windows 10 duplicate so unfunny and bothersome.

But you just let it slide and didn't make a big deal out of it.

Where would be the fun in that?
