The Prism Podcast
« on: June 18, 2016, 02:37:47 PM »
Hello SGUers,

Sorry for the shameless plug, but I just wanted to make an announcement about my podcast, which is beginning its fourth year.  Dr. Clay Jones, pediatrician and regular contributor to the Science Based Medicine blog, has joined me as my new co-host.  We are a skeptical podcast whose focus is on SBM and science communication.  We are starting a regular feature "This Week in Science Based Medicine" where we review a post from SBM.  This week, we had Steve Novella on to discuss his article about the "Cancer Box" (https://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/pulsed-electromagnetic-field-snake-oil/) which he posted last week.  Please check us out (after you've listened to SGU, of course).  We've had some amazing guests and I think (and hope) that you'll like it.

Thank you!

Grant Ritchey

Great interview on the SGU.

Here's a link to a thread started over flossing: http://sguforums.com/index.php/topic,47062.0.html

Maybe you could chime in for those who don't listen to podcasts?

Recently discovered Prism. It's really, really good! Don't miss the two-part interview with lawyer Colin McRoberts on his experiences on board the Conspira-Sea cruise. (aka the Woo Boat) Great intro to the weird world of pseudo-law and insightful comments about Andrew Wakefield.
