While the above is true, certain intervals are considered "consonant" or "dissonant" as a standard. The 3rd, 4th and 5th are consonant, while the 2nd and 7th are dissonant, for example. Never mind that it is totally possible to have a dissonance that is pleasing to the ear (maj7th chords, for example), these have been set as labels.

It was definitely an offhand comment from Jay during the solar panel segment, but Germany should absolutely not be looked upto, they shut down nuclear power plants and bought coal power to offset the shortfalls while they transition to renewable.
