Easily binged it in 2 days. Solid show! Most of the characters felt very real to me; fine acting all around.

I loved it. After seeing all the buzz I sat down last night to watch the Pilot.
6 hours later I had finished the whole show off in one sitting.  8)

Definitely a throw back to the 80's.

Arguably the best sci-fi/fantasy mini-series for a long time.

Can I watch it with my kids?  How young before they get too wigged out?

I'd say about 13-ish. It is light horror, but I wouldn't recommend it for young kids. Some of the monster scenes are a bit scary for younger viewers.

My rule of thumb would be, if you'd let them watch "Alien" then this is ok. It's about that level of horror.

Yeah, I don't really think it's for kids, there are things that are not so much jump scares but actually kind of disturbing.

Yep I agree with this. A definite creep factor. Something that might give a younger viewer nightmares.

If I watched 3 in a row tonight to finish it off, is that considered a binge...?

Anyway, loved it! It managed to take the best parts of '80s genre movies without being cutesy about it. All of the kid actors are terrific, although I thought the skeptic in the group was written too "adult." Also, once he sees the girl use her powers, how is he still a skeptic?? Very X-Files in that way (I'm looking a YOU, Scully!).

They are describing the next series as a sequel, more than a continuation. I thought it was complete and didn't really need any more.
But I am happy if they can make a decent story.

Oh, and please give Dustin some teeth next year. No front teeth is cute on a 3 year old, not a kid his age.

I watched the 1st 4 episodes last night.   Really like this show.  Netflix has another winner.

I'll likely crush that last 4 episodes over the weekend.

Don't count on it; the actor really has that affliction:

Any complaint I have about this show is really immaterial, it can't ever be perfect for everyone, but I think it was close enough.
