Online RPG

I've been listening to Friends at the Table, and it has piqued my RPG interest.  Anyone interested in some sort of RPD campaign, perhaps facilitiated via https://roll20.net/ or something similar?

I've dabbled in DMing, and might could do so, but if someone has a passion, I could just be a player as well.  This is really just to take the temperature in such a thing.

I'm running a D&D game right now via skype and poorly drawn pictures. I'd be down for a second, or for inviting others to play mine. We usually play Saturday mornings at 8am CST.

I could be into that, depending on what time of the week.

I've DMed a game over Roll20 before, but it was unfortunately fairly short lived. I'd love to play. My preferred system is D&D 5e (and Roll20 has recently added licensed support for that system) but I'd be pretty okay with any other system you like.

Sounds like a great idea. Depending on the time - time zones are a bitch.

Johnny Slick ran a game that kinda died due to the time zones. Let me know what time you have in mind.

My wife is the RPG player. She's going to GenCon today to rub elbows with the powers of the RPG world.

It didn't die!  We're not as regular as we used to be, but then isn't that the way the world goes?

It sounds like you just need more fibre.

8AM CST - that's what, 4:47PM QFL?

Man, I hate time zones.

That's 9AM on Saturday mornings. Until September I won't usually have my daughter on Saturday mornings so I could likely do this for now at least. I have played a few games of D&D 5E and have experience (old) in some other game systems.

YEAH, we're... on summer hiatus, basically. The online RPG thing works remarkably well when you find tools you like. We're playing a Fate game, using a combo of Tabletop Simulator and Google Hangouts (because it's definitely more fun when you can see each other), but Roll 20 also worked fine.

I'd sign up, and show up occasionally.

To be fair, I play the hell out of the game when I did show up!
