Reply All, John Brinkley

The latest "Reply All" episode is a fascinating story about John Brinkley. I had never heard of the guy, and I won't spoil it too much. Suffice it to say that this is a fantastic tale of science vs. skepticism. Brinkley lived from 1885-1942, but his story has some eerie parallels to politics, media, and pseudoscience today. In the end, the skeptical hero Morris Fishbein triumphs in a libel suit, and brings down the charlatan.
