Right Wing Cult: Fourth Turning
« on: February 04, 2017, 09:35:00 AM »
Not being a right wing guy, I just heard of this book this week that apparently is all the rage in far right wing circles. I find it fairly worrisome since we now have Stephen Bannon playing a national security role in the Federal Government and it is very likely he fosters extremely radical right wing Ideology.  Bannon's propaganda industry Breitbrt is very popular with extremists and the GOP as well.

It makes my blood run cold that so many could be persuaded by such pseudoscience. In my mind, this phenomena can now be called a Cult.

The book "Fourth Turning" appears to be a mix of Eliott Wave pseudoscience and revisionist historical cherry picking. Since at least publically, the Amercan Right can fairly be labeled anti-science, I worry we are only seeing the tip of the spear so far.

The recent UC Berkley protest has some odd video of "protestors" being violent, and there is growing suspicion that the violence may have been perpetrated by Breibrt cultists with law enforcement ignoring them.  There is no firm evidence of this as yet, but it is certainly plausible. The recent executive order banning resident aliens also aligns with the goals of this cult as the chaos caused may be a part of the means to an end. If you do a google search you will see that Breibrt has a real bugupthebutt for UC Berkley. I can't understand why as yet but UCB makes a lot of Zbreitbrt headlines over the past year or two.

This broke in the general news media in Time magazine.

I am bringing this up since I would prefer to be disuaded from my the possibility of fostering a conspiracy theory of my own. But Bannon's actions and words certainly hint at a hidden agenda.  Thoughts? (Breitbrt is spelled wrong on purpose.)

How would you go about debunking this? For example, if someone claimed that the Bundy Bunch out in Nevada was being paid off by Obama for political gains, in accordance with the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, how would you begin to examine that?

Why did you misspell Breitbart?
