Skeptics Guide Extravaganza
« on: November 24, 2019, 10:42:02 AM »
Went to yesterday’s show in downtown Los Angeles and was pleasantly surprised.

It was not at all what I expected. It was entertaining and funny and good to see the rogues in person.

The venue was packed, in the middle of the afternoon, and the crowd was very receptive and enthusiastically engaged.

If you listen regularly to the show and can make it to one of these I highly recommend it!

You may even bump into a fellow SGU forum poster, which was also fun!

If they came to Sweden, or even to Norway or Denmark, I'd definitely consider it!

Unfortunately I can't. They're not coming to Canberra this time around and I don't have the resources to get to Melbourne for the conference.

Was he as tall in person as he claims around here?  :D

I just noticed the thread. I was worried about sitting thru a two hour show, but after listening to the podcast for ages, and feeling like they're old friends of mine chatting, it went pretty fast. We watched them play games, but it felt like seeing old friends play in a living room or something. I think it was well worth the time and money
