You may not have known him, but Robert S. Lancaster was a friend of mine. I was privileged to have spent some time with him and his wife on my first trip to the USA. He passed away last weekend.

Sorry for your loss.

Great article about Lancaster..by most estimations, the man was a class act.

He was. One of the kindest and most compassionate of skeptical activists. The world, and the skeptical community specifically, is diminished by his loss.

It was not sudden. He has been declining for a long time. But it is sad. A lot of kind words have been said in the Community section of the International Skeptics Forum, where he was well-loved, especially back in the days when it was still run by the JREF.

Really?  Bummer, man.  I don't think he was great or even very good, but he made fun, enjoyable music.

Dadaist prank caller Longmont Potion Castle did a series of pranks on Edward "Eddie Money" Mahoney. He seems like such a nice guy, real polite and accommodating, who certainly didn't deserve that kind of abuse. (Still funny tho)

R.I.P. Eddie Money.

Nobody knows who he is, despite a documentary and a scrapped TV pilot.

I just saw this. I am truly saddened by this. I knew she had health issues but I thought she was getting better.

Sid Haig -- best known as Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses" trilogy -- has died.

The horror icon's wife, Suzie, shared the news Monday on Sid's own social media account, writing ... "On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next."

The gf and I just rewatched The Devils Rejects last night, coincidentally.

Very sad.
