I wonder if it's about social media more than anything else, because I don't have at all the same impression you do, Rai, but I'm also minimally active on non-forum and non-news-oriented sites.

First reviews don't look... great. Not terrible, but not great. Not "I'm going to spend 60 euros on this tomorrow" great.

Anyone play this? I got a new laptop and it's probably on sale somewhere, is it worth it now at less than full price?

From all I have heard, it is now OK, but still markedly meh.

I would only pick it up if it went below 15 USD on Steam.

It had the problems of a lot of recent overly ambitious AAA titles, which is they shipped it before it was finished. But instead of being able to fix it with patches, updates, expansions and DLC after launch (like GTA 5 or Diablo 3, which kind sucked at launch and are now awesome, and actually pretty much like Mass Effect 3), the publisher got scared by bad press, and decided to shut down the studio. So it will probably never get better.
