LEGION

Is anyone else watching this?

I just finished the first two episodes and I really like how weird it is. My least favorite actor thus far is probably the lead, but otherwise the show is kind of cool and pretty unusual.

Though after this and Magicians, TV writers now have to stop using mental illness vis a vis magic/powers.

We have been enjoying it. I enjoyed X-men comics when I was younger but am not current nor familiar with this store line or character. I like it, but can be a little confusing sometimes(I suspect it's supposed to be).

This.

I really wanted to like this show, but it left me not wanting to go back to it.  I like the actor they chose to play Legion, he goes a long way towards carrying that show, but it's just not enough.

You know, now that you mention it, I didn't like him not because he's a bad actor (he's actually pretty good), but because it feels like they're trying to pass off a 35 year old guy as an early 20s guy.

1/2 way through Ep.2 and already demanding Boss Lady catch up so we can argue about it.  ;D

That's the great thing about not reading comics since 1961, I don't have any pre-loading to deal with on these things.

I love it. Only show I watch the day of. It is nothing like the comic, which is great.

THIS I agree with.
I love when movies improve on the source material and this has, in no uncertain terms.
