evidence trumps experience | performance over perfection | responsibility – authority = scapegoat | emotions motivate; data doesn't

I once went to a skeptic party dressed as a Shepherd from Firefly and I used a magnifying glass as a holy symbol. I think it's a good choice. It's easy to draw and fairly unambiguous as to what it represents - getting a better look at something.
I expect to pass through this world but once;
any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now;
let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.

A question mark magnifying glass.  We should all get one of these.
