Emma Morano, the last person, (that we have proof of), born in the 1800s (November 29, 1899) has died today at the age of 117

The worlds oldest living person now is 117 year old Violet Brown of Jamaica. Born 10th of March 1900.

Why is it every time we get a new "Oldest person in the World" fate has to step in and kill them?
