Working on my story, I wrote the word "Greet" and it just looked wrong. It still looks wrong to me.

Anybody else run into that?

February. Dafuq?

When I was in school I pronounced it FEB-R-U-ARY so I could get the spelling right.

Well, that's your prerogative.
Amend and resubmit.

Well, that's your prerogative.
Or purgative.

Actually, I hear prerogative correctly without any hoops.

I call Arkansas as Ar-Kansas and People as Pee Opel to help me spell them.

I do the Ar-Kansas thing. I used a few tricks to remember non-English words, most of which wouldn't make sense here.

I always have to say to my self, "Wed-nes-day" to get it right, same with "feb-ru-ary".  Pretty much any word with a double letter, I'll get the wrong letter as the double.
