How to do pseudo science "properly"
« on: May 17, 2017, 06:10:01 PM »
I just had a little fun and decided to look at pseudo science from a different perspective: if I want to do pseudo science, what are the "rules"?
I've tried to formulate this in a way that non-academic people can follow.

  • It's about who is right. We're not trying to learn anything.
  • If anyone or any organization attempts to disprove your theory, they are part of the conspiracy.
  • If 1 out of 1000 scientists thinks you're right, that's conformation enough.
  • The pseudo scientific process starts with a possible explanation. And... that's it.
  • I know I'm right, but I take any half-truth that will confirm it.

Feel free to chip in.
