Probably imported from China.

Nope, that's made in America.
Until China figures out how to make them cheaper, at least. Then nuts will be outsourcing massacres.

If global warming is real then how come I just felt this chill down my spine?

Looks like the code that sent Dunning to prison

I have some code in a codebase that looks like that.  I'm working with a partner's API and there's a instantiation problem somewhere in their library.  So, I have to set a string value on their object before I set any of the other values, or none of them keep the value.  It's like the set call to them don't work unless something has been set to that string.  But I don't want that string to actually have a value.  So, my code sets that string, sets my other values, and then sets the string to empty.  I have a comment in my code like above to warn future developers.

One thing with style sheets is that often somebody already invented the wheel and you can just barrow and modify.
I always test everything before they go live however so when I change a line and it does something funky, I can just go back to the old version.
