Flu shot turned me into a newt.

Did you get better?

Nope, still a newt. Studying for salamander. "Aspire!"

Flu shot turned me into a newt.

The flu shot turned me into an outrigger canoe paddler. ...

Or maybe that would have happened anyway.  ;)

Fortunately in Canada (well, Ontario at least) all your vaccines are free, regardless of employment status. I think for the flu shot you don't even have to supply a health card #. They really want to make it as easy to get it as possible.

I'm surprised everyone in Canada hasn't caught the autism yet.

Maybe that is why we are so much nicer.

Mine either but I think it was much milder. Got hit just before Christmas.

Stats seem to suggest the flu shot in Canada has proven to be a good match this year and highly effective.

Anecdotally, I know several people who had the vaccine and still contracted the flu.  That said, this is a pretty mild case of the flu, so I think I got some benefit out of it.

I think this thread should branch out to MMR vaccines.  We have had quite an outbreak in Canterbury this season.  I am really annoyed at unvaccinated kids coming back from the USA disneyland and infecting (unvaccinated) everyone they meet... costing us a fortune.

I just had my winter jab... nice that it's free for seniors.  I gave the nurse a 9.9/10.  I think she liked that.
