I've heard it before, while Dolly's version is better, I still don't like it.  I don't hate it the way I hate Whitney's version though.

I have to stand up for Dolly Parton, who wrote the song and who recorded an infinitely better interpretation.  Whitney absolutely murderated this sweet, understated, heartbreaking gem. 


I really enjoy great female vocalists, and Whitney had a great voice, but I hated her style.

Dude, yes.  James Taylor has a lovely voice, and he seems like a lovely human being, but I can't effing stand any of his work, except this one duet with JD Souther.

Sometimes idk what I hate more pop or alt music trying way too hard to be artsy. WTF does “I brought a lemon to knife fight” even mean?

I just totally don't get the love for taylor swifts new album.  It's like back spoken word poetry with weird sound effects in the background
I disavow anyone in the movement involved in any illegal,unethical, sexist, or racist behavior. However, I don't have the energy or time to investigate each person and case, and a lack of individual disavowals for each incident should not be construed as condoning such behavior.
