Does anyone have a direct link to submit comments to the FDA? regulations.gov isn’t loading for me.

I don't know if a direct link will help you. The comments page is still in the regulations.gov domain. Loads for me, though (but required javascript).

Homeopathy is indeed useless, but a profession that recommends statins to healthy people, useless stents for angina, more than useless knee surgery (that has been shown to be no better than physiotherapy), etc., should take care throwing mud.

A "profession" is not "throwing mud". Nor could it, as it is not a monolithic whole. Instead, people who advocate scientific rigor in medicine are pointing out that homeopathy is bullshit and should be regulated as such. And are you seriously suggesting that mainstream medicine - especially science based medicine - is even remotely comparable to that utter quackery?

I like to point out to believers that the very term "UFO" itself demonstrates a big part of the fallacy. Of course this term stands for "Unidentified Flying Object," yet when most people, including myself, hear this term, the FIRST association they jump to in their mind is "alien spacecraft."

So our brain has begun the misdirection FROM THE VERY MOMENT of mention. Even I am forced to claw my way back from that misdirection to start the analysis over again. It is (at this point) unidentified. It appears to fly. It appears to be an object.

To me, the term "UFO" means bird. I cannot identify birds. And most of them fly.

But can you tell apart birds from planes and Superman?

I don't know. I've never actually seen superman. Whether I can tell a bird from a plane depends on how clearly I can see them. I might confuse a really small plane for a bird. A model RC glider might seem like a bird at sufficient distance. But I cannot identify planes either. Except maybe a 747 if it's on the ground and close enough, because of the hump. But if it's on the ground then it's not an FO.

All it takes is practice. There are books on the topic to assist. Then get yourself to an airport and make a pest of yourself.

Those are not unidentified. They're called hairballs.
