Looks like a good whodunnit:

Clue meets Fargo?

This looks good.  Particularly great use of I'll Be There

... in war the screams are loud and harsh and in peace the wail is so drawn-out we tell ourselves we hear nothing.

I could do without the cats, this one looks more interesting than I originally suspected.

In the late 80's I was one of those annoying survey people that would stop you in the mall to ask about laundry detergent and such.  I was positioned across from the electronics store that had a number of display model TVs right up front. Top Gun was played on repeat for my entire 8 hour shift, I worked 4 days a week, for two months and saw that movie over and over and over again. I know every line, every inflection, every note of music in the sound track, I might even be able to tell you the names of the second string best boy and key grip. and I thought when I left that job if I ever saw another homoerotic sand volleyball scene in a movie again it would be too soon.

I'm going to buy a ticket.

This looks like top tier adventure/fantasy:

It's not a film. It is a series. 8 episodes in Season 1.

That does look interesting. It seems like a good parallel for Cruise himself and his career actually! I find the meta analysis of Cruise and his movies and the choices these days to be more interesting than the movies themselves to be honest.

But I probably wont go to see this. I never really liked the original.

There's a deficit of First World War movies in my opinion (especially compared to WWII) so I'm very much looking forward to this, looks great:

Ah, 1917, the year the US saved western civilization.

Seriously, I read it in a book. When I was in grade school.

edit: its been 9 years since we have seen Pesci in something. Arguably longer since we have seen him in something good.
