Didn't watch the linked video. Didn't click on the link. In response to the thread title: I trust my computer to be a computer. It runs programs and does what they tell it to do. I trust some programs more than others. Some I don't trust at all. Others I trust enough to use.

I generally do not trust links to unknown web sites. I'll click on a link if it goes to a web site I trust, and if I think it promises to be interesting.

"Do you trust your computer?" is, IMO, the wrong question. The question should be "Do you trust software?" And my answer to that is, "It depends on the software."

Do you trust a link to Elon Musk's twitter? (He's in the documentary by the way)

Edit: Here is the tweet from Musk that led me to the link I posted in the OP:

I trust twitter not to try to bollix my computer, but twitter feeds are so hard to decipher that I never click on them. In theory, if I was reading a twitter feed I would treat links posted there the same as I treat links in emails. I.e., I probably won't click on mostboringpictures.com or nigerianprincewantstogiveyoumoney.com but I might click on a YouTube video of a classical musician I've never heard of.

I really like Elon Musk. But that doesn't mean I'll watch a long video just because he recommended it. And I'll seldom watch a video just because someone says "Hey, watch this." I want to know what it's about and why the person thinks it's interesting. Without more information, "Do you trust your computer?" does not interest me.
