How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan
« on: January 18, 2019, 03:44:04 PM »
I just finished reading How To Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan (it's about psychedelics). I'm left feeling very ambivalent. Has anyone read it? How do you feel about the science presented in the book? I'd be curious to hear peoples' thoughts.

I just wanted to get this post on my radar.  I bought this book the other day and it's on my Kindle, but haven't started it yet.  I really loved the Ominvore's Dilema and am interested in the science mentioned.  I have a daily meditation practice and a lot of what I read mentions the same kind of things...but I spend a lot of time reading meditation stuff and trying to separate the grain from the chaff.
