A lot of "free thinkers" are attracted to the toxic pseudoscience in Quillette, so I'm glad that someone did a thorough piece on it. I think it is very fair (in fact, probably too generous). Engber notes that both Slate and the Quillette have contrarian missions, but the way they've executed this has been very different.

They like so many often get things wrong but are occasionally correct.
