Displaying your butt hurt in public over an opposing philosophical position you can't debate rationally, is an indicator that you're not very bright, sorry.
Conversation is not an enterprise designed to yield an extrinsic profit, a contest where a winner gets a prize, nor is it an activity of exegesis; it is an unrehearsed intellectual adventure - Michael Oakeshott

Ayn Rand was a hypocrite who fetishized sociopathy.  Her philosophy is dumb bullshit which provides an outlet/framework for the worst, most primitive, most defective aspects of the human spirit.

Also, this is a pictures thread.

A  gravedig of a silly Ayn Rand pic, questioning accusations of a Catholic priest raping a young boy, and sneering at the "religious language" of climate change.

I guess I shouldn't post that "Bold Move" Dodgeball meme since it's like 20 years old at this point, but .... well, let's see how this return to the forums works out for Will.

So basically it's poisoning the well, name calling and other idiocy put on public display? Is this sort of exchange tolerated (encouraged?) by the moderator?

How pathetic and sad has the 'skeptical community' become. At least on these forums anyway.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
"Give me the storm and tempest of thought and action, rather than the dead calm of ignorance and faith. Banish me from Eden when you will; but first let me eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge."
— Robert G. Ingersoll

common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
