They’d just use their microwave guns on them.

I’ve heard stories about them, but I don’t know if they’re real.
For this the LePage Glue Gun would be the thing.

I very much doubt that the US Government is going to actually shoot anyone over this.

They won't be able to: The people will be running too fast with their arms out behind them.  ;D

Seriously, though, the AF will just arrest them, give then Ban-and-Bar letters, and drive them about ten miles away and let them go in a different town to make it hard for them to get back to their cars.

Oh, they're real. They use millimeter waves though, not microwaves. Millimeter waves heat water molecules on the surface of the skin but don't have the penetrating power to actually cook a body through.

Has anyone set an Over/Under on how many people will actually be there to attempt the storming?  I'm picking Under.

Under.

Though I can only hope that the secret conspiracist known as "Q" endorses this endeavor to promote a thinning of the herd.

I'm loving this idea that the government is just going to massacre millions of its citizens.

I don’t think that they would.  I’m responding to the claim that they couldn’t.

I think that by far the most likely course of events is that 1) far fewer people show up than say they will, 2) the government will close down roads in the area to make approaching the site more difficult and will increase patrols, and 3) there will be a few arrests and nobody will make it near the site.

I think you're right on all three counts.

I couldn't find the meme but I saw one the other day that said something to the effect of

"anyone who has ever been in a band knows that only 10 RSVPs will show up"

I think Latinists three counts are what will really happen however the deviant in me is hoping for mass crowds and tear gas with many arrests and hopefully no serious injuries.

Announce in advance of the date that there will be "training maneuvers" in the area, including armored units, helicopter and fast-mover involvement, etc. Good practice mobilization to boot.

Yeah, most of those loons won't get off their double-wide desk chairs to hump the boonies looking for aliens.

BTW, is it any coincidence that Bob Lazar has a movie on Netflix(?) right now?
