It's time to separate the skeptical wheat from the motivated reasoning chaff again.

Yeah, the situation utterly strains credulity.  And how things were handled the first time he got busted?  There's all manner of conjecture.

I'm seeing:
  • The Clintons did it
  • Trump, et al. did it
  • They did it.  Them.
  • David Copperfield makes suspicious appearances in his documents.  David Copperfield switched him with a murdered body double!
  • They switched him with a murdered body double.  Them.
And, oh boy, look what Trump retweeted:

If global warming is real then how come I just felt this chill down my spine?

The conspiracists are unusually entertaining on this one:

Anyone remember back in (2012?) when  :rebecca: talked about Lawrence Krauss and Epstein? I read a thread here on this forum I believe. I think she deserves props for that. She was well ahead of the curve on that.

That being said, I'm not sure what the deal is with the media reporting all these organizations taking money from Epstein. To that I say "so what", unless he was giving money for illegal purposes. Well-connected, morally-repugnant people with money give it away all the time in the hopes the donation will give them the appearance of legitimacy.

The DEFENSE of the man is disgusting however. No amount of $$$$ could keep me from publicly demolishing the creep. That to me is the bigger story here.

During Hurricane Dorian, my mother was staying with me and asked if I though Epstein had really killed himself. I told her that the man never took responsibility for anything in his life, why would suicide be so out of character for the man. She seemed to accept that.
