Prager U sues Google. . .(Again?)
« on: August 24, 2019, 10:09:58 AM »
Apparently deeming content inappropriate for children is censorship and Google is legally required to uphold the first amendment rights of it's users . . .

Or that's what Prager U says . . .

But not what a federal judge said back last year. . .

I'm confused.
You have the power, but. . .
Power is just energy over time and. . .
Energy is just the ability to do work.

I'm not familiar with the case referenced here, but the First Amendment says that the government may not restrict free speech. It does not obligate any private company to give a platform to anybody. The First Amendment says that I can stand on a street corner and deliver a tirade and the government is not allowed to stop me, or I can print a newspaper and say what I like (with some limitations). But it does not require a radio station to allow me to use their air time to deliver my tirade, and it does not require a newspaper to print it. Google can censor anything it wants to, and the First Amendment has nothing to say about it.

Got a link.

I'll bet Prager is trying to get another bite at the apple now that the bench is stuffed with corpratists and anarchists, and the anti-tech propaganda is setting in.
