Most awesome debut:

Me, joining the message boards!

No, it wasn't on the show. And that was an enormous oversight. But I forgive you for not understanding what an amazing and intelligent person joined the SGU message boards.

I would say a most memorable moment, for many reasons both sad and happy, was Perry's musical debut, singing his skeptical quote. Listening to it now is still just as funny, but it brings the tears instantly as well.

I second this.

Agreed, and during the science or fiction when they were cracking up about nanotubes.

I used some of the questions from last year's survey.

1.Favorite remark made on the show by each panellist
   - Steve: "You have to be cautious before you send a really critical email to us cuz   we just might use it in our Name that Logical Fallacy segment."
   - Bob: "Jay I think they should just ship dehydrated water."
   - Rebecca: "Perry, Perry show me on the doll where science touched you."
   - Jay (after being introduced): "A lonely man."
   - Evan (in a Scottish accent): "Aarch. If it's not homeopathic, it's crap!
   - Perry: "How can two mathematicians come to different conclusions?  Well, one of them's a dick.

2.Best snarky comment
   - Perry: "Stick to the science Bob, we'll do the jokes."

3.Most entertaining guest
   - Me ;)
   - Mark Crislip

4.Best SGU episode
   - 113: Had the right amount of science, humor and the chemistry between the rogues was perfect.  It was also the episode where I realized that, although it would never be the same, the SGU can go on without Perry.

5. Funniest segment on the show
   -  Tie between the Science or Fiction crack up from 113 and the utility belt discussion from 116.

6. Most memorable moment
   - Perry singing the skeptical quote of the week.
"We're just so damn exciting." - Dr. Steven Novella, MD

I think the bit immediately preceding it was much funner, if only because it wasn't meant as a joke "What happened to you boys? Was it the science?"

I recently met Lorraine Warren.  That quote got 10 times funnier to me when I got to personally see what a complete loon she is.

I really enjoyed Bill Nye. He is witty, smart and talkative. I loved his comments about women and astrology.

I'll copy Mikes format:

1.Favorite remark made on the show by each panellist
Rebecca:
Quote
Steve (about smart women being better in bed): "To whatever degree this may be true for women. It is 10 times as true for men. The smart guys are far and away the best in bed."
Rebecca: "So how many smart guys have you slept with?"
#114

Evan: "Mmm, I'm gonna get me a handful of them salty monkey nuts." #112
Steve (after email asks not to divulge last name): "Keep up the excellent podcast, Mark Johnson" #97
Jay (about the fossilized forest found in a coal mine): "Yeah they found a frozen guy down there too. He got up and he started singing showtunes it was amazing." #92
Jay: "This is not science folks. This is an idiot." #89
Perry: "Yes I believe China will control the weather. If it doesn't cooperate they'll have it shot." #92
Bob: "Jay I think they should just ship dehydrated water."

2.Best snarky comment
Not a comment, but the Monty Python intermission music during science or fiction ep #120 was brilliant.
From #98:
Quote
Perry (to Bob): "You are scientifically, illiterate."
Bob: "Ok well tell me what the size of an angstrom is."
Perry: "An angstrom is about the size of your phallus."

3.Most entertaining guest
Most entertaining would probably be Phil Plait:
Quote
Steve: "So Phil you've had a bit of a career change recently, why don't you tell us about that."
Phil: "It's true, I went to a cosmetology college and now I'm a beautician."

Steve: "So thanks for being our first regular guest."
Phil: "Well I'll continue to eat my bran and raisins, ba-dum-pum, thank you."

5. Funniest segment on the show
The utility belt discussion from 116.

6. Most memorable moment
Quote from: "Mike"
Perry singing the skeptical quote of the week.
