I saw a show a few years ago that looked at crop circles and that kooky organization that "investigates" them. They talked about all the supposed anomalies then they interviewed an agricultual scientist. He was great. Paraphrasing here, he said if they had bothered to consult someone who actually studies agriculture they would have been told this is a completely naturally occuring phenomena. I think it was NatGeo's Is It Real?
