I've since returned to reality, but I'm still on their email list. Each day brings at least one new gem to my inbox, and I'd really like to share them all here. One issue I can already see is that since Mike Adams is so vehemently anti-government, at least half of the posts would cross over from the woo realm to politics and conspiracies. Some of his updates contain both, as shown in the first example below-

My hope is that it would be entertaining, but I wouldn't want to ruffle any feathers. My original idea was to post screenshots since Adams's smiling face next to the "astonishing revelations" adds another level of amusement, but I don't feel like opening an image account just for that. After railing for paragraphs about the "psychopath" elite, he ends by asking if everything he just posited is really happening (hey man, I'm just asking questions). I can't help but remember how uncritical my thinking used to be back when I believed this hooey. I'd laugh if it weren't so sad that millions of people still buy (literally) this nonsense, with a good number of them fiercely defending and promoting it. Adams and his ilk are are the real threat to humanity if they're willing to trade honest science and real environmental concerns for clicks and cash. Xenu help us all...

I find it fascinating that conservatives readily see the junk science fraud behind so-called "climate change," but many mainstream conservatives are easily duped by the similar junk science lies of the vaccine industry.
Yet it's a Democrat - Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. - who is spearheading the real investigations into vaccines, questioning the safety of their ingredients and the routine fraud behind their approval by the FDA.
It begs the question: Why are Democrats tricked by the lies of the climate change fraud, while Republicans are tricked by the lies of the vaccine deep state?

I can't tell if that last part is scary or sad. I'm picturing him alone in his garage, practicing his skills with an organically grown, free-trade bamboo bow-staff. The Star Wars Kid of preppers, if you will.

Well, after actually skimming the linked page and scrubbing through the video, the answer is more scary than sad. His "battle belt" is basically military-style rifles and a first-aid kit (including a chest-wound seal)- "A lot of people forget to cover the first aid needs in all this, and they forget that engaging bad guys in a kinetic engagement always puts you at risk of being shot yourself" (emhpasis his). He says the word "skills" a lot which makes me read it in a Napoleon Dynamite voice. The post ends with this- "Also, watch this amazing free video course filmed with a couple of my buddies, called 'Real Self-Defense - The Joy Of Shooting.'" Hoo boy...

This is why actual fake-news is so dangerous. The appeal of organic living and "preparedness" evolves into this type of paranoia all too often. Even some people I used to hang with have gone from marching against Monsanto to stockpiling "supplies." I'll say it again- I'm VERY glad I stumbled upon skepticism and critical thinking. I just wish reality was more easily attainable for those stuck down the rabbit-hole...

Ohio hospital spreading deadly infectious disease through its water systems
NOTE: The "internet kill switch" is being tested today (Sunday), causing huge outages of Google and millions of other websites. The entire Shopify e-commerce system has been taken offline, shuttering hundreds of thousands of online e-commerce companies.
This is all being done in preparation for a massive event; most likely some sort of staged event. Notice that this took place immediately after the DOJ announced a bombshell anti-monopoly investigation into Google.

Google and other tech giants taken down yesterday as Trump goes to war with Big Tech
Yesterday saw global outages rippling across most of the major tech giants that are currently engaged in criminal fraud against humanity: Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and more.
Google Cloud was brought to a grinding halt, and every service that depended on Google immediately cratered. Some people believe the government was testing an "internet kill switch," but I think this was Trump firing a warning shot over the bow of Big Tech.
Finally, Trump has unleashed the DOJ and FTC to hammer Google, Amazon and the other tech giants over their monopolistic practices and politically motivated speech suppression (and economic de-platforming).
In other words, Trump is fighting for our right to speak. And he's using the power of big government to take aim at the evil, fraudulent, criminal tech giants like Google and Twitter.

Since the Natural News app is still available on Apple's App Store, these other apps he's talking about must have been on another level of crazy. The graphic's bottom text directly compares them all to Hitler and Mussolini, and again claims humanity will never be free as long as they're in charge. I thought it looked familiar, and sure enough it's almost an exact copy of one of The Last Jedi posters- Zuck as Luke, Dorsey as Ray, Bezos as Kylo, Cook as Finn, Pichai as Leia and Wales as Poe. If it is a ripoff, he's probably never seen the movie...

Well, disturbing is right. Not the part about FB banning NN for content not featured on FB, for which Adams provides no evidence, but the article itself. It's basically Adams claiming it was an article posted only to NN that got them banned, then a laundry list of supposed atrocities that the "progressives" have carried out against today's youth in the name of "LGBT-ism." Some of the things he mentions are truly unsettling, though I doubt the way they're presented is based in reality.

In keeping with the "for laughs" purpose of this thread, I did chuckle at the related videos and the thumbnails being mixed up. The climate hoax headline is paired with a woman making a cross-eyed derp face, while the dumbing down preview shows an ominous looking globe. The "Soviet-style society" preview shows a man who looks a lot like Jason Bateman with Facebook branded gaff tape over his mouth. The "tech giants" thumbnail is a nerd wearing suspenders being stomped on by a hipster wearing torn skinny jeans and green sneakers. The nerd appears to be minding his own business, at least the dropped grocery bag gives that impression. The concrete wall behind them is tagged with Google, Apple, Twitter and FB logos. I really don't think they thought this one through long enough.

Who knows if FB really booted them for content posted elsewhere. The official reason was spam according to a quick Google search. Be warned the following Gizmodo both links and previews NN's "Ebola vaccine" instructions, so prepare yourself for involuntary face-palms. Where would one even get "An Ebola sample: some spit or other disease product, such as blood, from a person infected with Ebola, or who is suspected sick with it" per Step #4?

Sounds about right. I remember many years ago Alex Jones making a stink when Google stopped listing InfoWars and PrisonPlanet in the News results. If i recall, he was also mad about airports in Europe warning wifi users that visiting his websites could be unsafe. Now that I think about it, his webmaster probably forgot to renew a cert or two :P

The article in that last preview, and what is presumably the main focus of today's email, shows only one source for the insanity they're pushing. This comes as no surprise at this point, but I was still taken aback. Their source for this lunacy is none other than Hal Turner. You read that right. I hovered over the link they provided and it goes to notorious racist Hal Turner's radio show. Are they even trying anymore? If they are, is this really what they consider a credible source? Holy shit, dude. This is like if InfoWars linked to stormfront to prove Pizzagate was real.

I recall a few years ago a YouTube video making the rounds in the Truth-o-sphere of a plane that supposedly forgot to "turn off" its chemtrails. Apologies for including the more politically-charged headlines, but I think it underscores how connected everything is for these folks. Apparently emotion-regulating veggies carry the same weight as cyber-warfare, or vaccines and chemtrails, for that matter. I wonder if "RFJ, Jr." knows about this?! I see they're pushing Del Bigtree now. I haven't been able to sit through more than a few mins of this guy's show, but to seems to be another "alternative" news show where the likes of Mercola, Tenpenny and Wakefield would be welcome. The FB ban was covered in a few posts above, but it's good to hear the Alexa rating has dropped. I recently re-listened to some old Skeptic episodes and #283 stated NN's Alexa rating was 1000 in 2011, with a Google PageRank of 6.

That reminded me of a skeptical friend questioning once GreenMedInfo as a credible source, so I did a FB search for my old posts. Holy shit was I stupid. I shuttered a bit at the memory, but actually reading it is painful. I had posted a NN "article" about food irradiation that used GMI as a source, on which my friend immediately went to town. Critical thinking at its finest. And my counter-argument? Cringe-worthy would be an understatement. I wish I had been as skeptical as him back then, but at least I eventually came around.

In a word- humor. My intentions were made clear at the beginning of this topic. Anyone here to read them already knows it's outlandish, and these "headlines" are from an email-only list. The actual headlines on the NN site are usually different than the ones in the emails. Are you suggesting someone might google "5G," find this thread and misinterpret my ribbing as an endorsement from the show?

There was another video about Apple banning a supposedly conservative-friendly app, but it wasn't wacky enough to include here. What was wacky is the video's thumbnail- an Apple logo with a big 'ole swastika in the middle, over a diagram of a computer chip. Subtlety is not this organization's strong suit.

I really like how Jones and Adams are practically begging for gov't intervention these days. And there is no doubt in my mind that Adams created that Vader meme himself. I think the Monsanto Collaborators list was as close as he'll get, but who knows. I just finished the Behind The Bastards episodes on Mike Adams that John Albert posted above. They posited that he's more interested in making money than being famous, and he's relitively boring behind a mic, hence his lower profile. If that's the case, he probably knows not to go full call-to-action again, especially after taking that list of scientists down. The podcast didn't get into that debacle, strangely.

I'm now hooked on the Knowledge Fight podcast after they guested on BTB. The first one I heard was about Jones's Y2K show, which I remember hearing about ten yrs ago. Part of me got a bit wistful hearing a young Jones rattle on about pres Clinton and Putin, I remembered exactly where I was and what I was doing when I first heard it. The most action I ever took on the "truther" front was handing out dvd's and flyers at various events and street corners. I did, however, meet people who were miiiiles ahead of me in the crazy department. I was able to crawl back out of the rabbit hole, but some fell deeper. I'm talking those looneys who show up after mass shootings and claim it's all fake level insanity. I got out before Adams officially entered that realm, and I hope he never goes full AJ now that he's got those types of followers

The stolen elections bit made me chuckle, and the flu-shot piece is just laughable. If anyone ever said the flu-shot was 100% effective, I must have missed it. I'm curious as to what would one would pour on their head to prevent hair loss, but not curious enough to click.

Apologies for leaving the more politically charged pieces in, but in this case it was necessary. Adams's sentence about empowering armed citizens to "put down" antifa protesters sure sounds like a call to violent action to me. And just a few posts ago I was sure he had learned his lesson after his short-lived GMO hit-list website.

On a lighter note, "speeding up mother nature" sounds a bit oh, I don't know, unnatural. And dig the Glenn Beck style question marks added to ludicrous statements. They really want to call California a wasteland but phrasing it as a question sounds more professional, I suppose. If it does become a nuclear wasteland, at least there's a smoothie to clean the radiation from your colon.
