Unless you get a script to do it automatically, I can't see any mods taking on the task of checking old threads every day and locking the oldest ones.

Yeah, exactly.  Plenty of forums have threads that lock after a set time period.

Speaking of children's books,  I find it very annoying that every Star Wars themed Children's book I get for little Febo ends up having some prequel shit in it.

For a science theme, I really like the Octonauts books.   The artwork is beautiful; my three-year-old loves them, though the vocab is tough for her.
